In a couple of hours, the photograph garnered over 370,000 likes and over 7,000 comments on the social media platform.
The picture reveals Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid is a much-loved man surrounded by children and family members. The children were thrilled to have Sheikh Mohammed around.

A hot and dusty day in Dubai. A scraggly youngster struggled to balance the rolls of cloth on his shoulders as he shuffled into the palace premises. There weren’t security men around. After all, this was the 1920s: a time when Dubai was a desert outpost by the creek.
Some palace maids noticed the skinny delivery boy. He was too young to work. Too frail to carry the cloth rolls. He certainly bore the marks of maltreatment. This aroused the curiosity of the maids, who quizzed him. His has been a life of struggle and abuse at the hands of his employer (a relative) since he came to Dubai, aged 11.

Sheikh Mohammed reiterates the UAE’s commitment to fight climate change.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reiterated the UAE’s commitment to fight climate change with international partners, during the Global Climate Summit on Friday.
“Today, I, along with a group of world leaders, participated in the Leaders Summit on Climate, called for by @POTUS. The #UAE believes climate change is not a temporary concern, but a global challenge that is here to stay and provides opportunities for a better future,” Sheikh Mohammed said in his tweet shared by the Dubai Media Office.
Dubai: The ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign, launched by the UAE on Sunday, can create the momentum needed to tackle hunger and malnutrition in the developing world, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs said.
Mohammad Al Gergawi, who is also Secretary-General of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), said this year’s Ramadan campaign, the largest food drive in the region, reflects the UAE’s commitment to growing its efforts to support global humanitarian causes and to strengthen its status as an active contributor on the global sphere.
Mohammad Al Gergawi Al Gergawi said: “The launch of this campaign can create the momentum that the international community needs to tackle the pervading and devastating issue of hunger and malnutrition in the developing world. By galvanising a collective solidarity around efforts to end hunger, 100 Million Meals campaign can provide tangible support to those most in need, at a time of greatest need.”
