A girl was allegedly gang-raped and burnt alive at her residence in Bihar s Muzaffarpur on January 11, police said on Wednesday.
The girl died this morning in a hospital where she was undergoing treatment.
The girl s father has accused four people and a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in the case.

Madhubani, Bihar: In a spine-chilling incident, a deaf and mute girl has been allegedly gang-raped in Madhubani district of Bihar on Tuesday (January 12).
According to a media report, the incident took place at Kauwaha Barhi village in Harlakhi police station area in Bihar when the victim had taken her goats for grazing to a field outside the village, said Superintendent of Police (SP), Satya Prakash.

TAXILA: Two brothers who shot their sister dead were arrested by Hazro police on Wednesday.
Police said both suspects committed the crime on Aug 12 and later escaped. They were declared proclaimed offenders by a local court. Acting on a tip off, police raided their hideout in Jehangira town of KP and arrested them, following which they also confessed their crime.
In a separate move, the same police raided a gambling den in village Syedan near Hattain and arrested eight persons while they were gambling.
Stake money amounting to Rs8,000 and gambling tools were also confiscated.
Meanwhile, Hassanabdal police foiled a narcotics smuggling attempt and arrested two persons.
Poonch: The Jammu and Kashmir police and army on Wednesday claimed to have recovered two pistols, seventy pistol rounds and two grenades hidden in bushes near LoC in Dabbi village of Balakote of Poonch district on Wednesday morning.
Police said that the arms and ammunition were kept in bushes by militant handlers from Pakistan and have been recovered on the disclosure of three militant associates arrested on Sunday.
SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral said that during questioning of arrested militant associate Yaseen Khan, some vital clues on his confession were developed after which a team of police headed by Sub Divisional Police Officer Mendhar Zaheer Jafri alongwith army launched an operation in the Dabbi area near LoC and recovered a consignment of arms and ammunition kept in a polythene bag in the bushes.
