Rawalpindi : Two days left to apply for the No Objection Certificate (NOC) to collect hides of sacrificial animals on Eidul Azha as without permission no one would be allowed to indulge in the collection activity.
The administration on the directives of Punjab Government has banned the collection of sacrificial animals’ hides during Eidul Azha without prior permission.
Deputy Commissioner Office Rawalpindi had announced that the applications for collecting hides of sacrificial animals would be received till July 10 and after the deadline, no application would be entertained.
According to a DC office spokesman, the administration would not allow anyone to collect hides without prior permission of the authorities concerned. ISLAMABAD: In August 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan assigned a task to one of his MPAs from Rawalpindi, Chaudhry Muhammad Adnan. He was then Parliamentary Secretary (Revenue). Identification and recovery of grabbed state land was his task.
In November 2020, Adnan wrote to the PM saying the land mafia threatened him that he would be de-notified if he continued working against them. Before this letter, he had also informed the Punjab chief minister about this threat. In December 2020, just a month after his letter to the PM, the land mafia’s threat was translated into reality. Adnan’s revenue portfolio was de-notified.

PM orders inquiry into mishandling of widow sisters complaint at Citizen Portal

ISLAMABAD (APP) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday taken serious note of the complaint by two widow sisters at Pakistan Citizen Portal and ordered inquiry against Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Rawalpindi on the mishandling of their case.
The prime minister directed the Chief Secretary’s Office to order a fact-finding inquiry into the matter by nominating a senior-level officer, initiate action thereafter under the rules and submit the report by May 31.
He directed Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit (PMDU) to carry out a performance evaluation of the dashboards of all revenue officers in the Rawalpindi Division.
