Listed natgas concern PGNiG terminated its 20 years supply deal with US firm Port Arthur for ca. 2 million tons of LNG annually, and signed annexes to its supply contracts with another US company, Venture Global, providing for additional purchases of LNG amounting to ca. 2 million tons per year in a 20 years period, PGNiG said in consecutive market filings.
PGNiG will at the same time launch negotiations with Port Arthur s parent Sempra LNG about potential cooperation in the field of LNG supplies from Sempra s other projects, PGNiG said.
Separately, PGNiG agreed terms of annexes to LNG supply contracts with Venture Global Plaquemines LNG and Venture Global Calcasieu Pass, PGNiG announced. The annexes, if signed, will increase the volume of LNG deliveries to PGNiG by 2 million tones in total per year.
