Detroit FCA US LLC (FCA, a/k/a Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), one of the big three American automobile manufacturers, pleaded guilty to conspiring to violate the Labor Management Relations Act, also known as the Taft-Hartley Act, by making illegal payments to officers of the United Auto Workers union, Acting United States Attorney Saima S. Mohsin announced today.
FCA is the American operating subsidiary of Stellantis, and it is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Today, a representative of FCA appeared in a virtual court hearing before United States District Judge Paul D. Borman and admitted that the company had conspired with other entities and individuals to violate the Taft-Hartley Act by making more than $3.5 million in illegal payments to officers of the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace, and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) during the period 2009 through 2016. (WXYZ) â A Hazel Park police detective is accused of embezzling more than $65,000 in public asset forfeiture funds.
The state attorney general s office says Sean Boucher, 45, of Warren, is set to be arraigned on the following charges:
Conducting a criminal enterprise, a felony punishable by 20 yearsâ imprisonment and/or $100,000;
Embezzlement of between $50,000 and $100,0000, a felony punishable by 15 yearsâ imprisonment and/or $25,000, or three times the amount embezzled, whichever is greater; and
Five counts of embezzlement by a public official of more than $50, a 10-year felony or $5,000.

HAZEL PARK, MI – A former Michigan police detective has been charged with multiple felonies, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced Wednesday.
Sean Boucher, 45, of Warren has been charged with conducting a criminal enterprise, embezzlement between $50,000 and $100,000 and five counts of embezzlement by a public official of more than $50. All charges are felonies that carry punishments that include prison time and hefty fines.
Boucher is accused of embezzling more than $65,000 in public asset forfeiture funds following an FBI investigation. Prosecutors say he used the money for his own personal use over the course of several incidents between 2013 and 2017.
