By Tom Moore Feb 10, 2021 (Cleveland) - Cleveland Police are investigating the discovery of a man s body under a burning mattress on the city s west side. Police say that just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, they were called out to the corner of West 41st and Train Avenue in Ohio City, where they were met by members of Cleveland Fire. Fire was called out for a report of a vehicle on fire. When firefighters arrived, they saw a mattress on fire. After putting that fire out, a man s body was found underneath. The Police Homicide Unit, and the Fire Division s Arson Unit are both investigating. Nobody has been arrested. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner will determine the man s identity, and how he died.
