Jackson County man arrested for attempted homicide May 6, 2021 10:38 AM Jourdan Vian Updated: BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WKBT) A Jackson County man was arrested Wednesday after he was accused of shooting a gun at his wife while she was leaving their town of Manchester home. Johnathan R. Heller, 36, was taken into custody on charges of first-degree attempted reckless homicide, first-degree recklessly endangering safety and intentionally discharging a firearm into a vehicle, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office responded to a 911 call at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday after a woman reported that her husband had shot at her while she was leaving their residence on Fire Tower Road. Heller was still at the residence with the couple’s two-year-old child, according to deputies.
