Last year, what was planned as a month-long virtual series a few weeks into the pandemic ended up running for more than two months and over 100 performances, not counting a late-summer Pride-themed reprise.
Naturally organizers with the Producer Entertainment Group have revived the concept for a second pandemic year. Scaled back to a two-weekend affair with nearly two dozen performances, the roster for “Digital Drag Fest 2021” prominently features a virtual who’s who of

We’ve been inundated with A LOT of RuPaul’s Drag Race. At this point, there’s 13 seasons of the OG stateside franchise (and five seasons of the All Stars variant on top of that!), with global spin offs in Thailand, Canada, Chile, Holland, Australia and here in the United Kingdom. Drag Race España is the latest addition, due to premiere on May 30th. With all that said, how on EARTH do you even BEGIN to start ranking every season of RuPaul’s Drag Race?
Well firstly, let’s take some out of the equation. For this ranking, we’re going to focus on the franchises that have been readily available for UK audiences on Netflix and iPlayer, so US, All Stars, UK and Canada. Australia fits into that too, but feels unfair to count it when the season’s still airing. RUPAUL’S Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne is joining Emmerdale.
The drag queen - who triumphed in the first season of the drag competition - will appear in a special pride episode of the soap next month.
