NOIDA: Ahead of the crucial talks between farmer outfits and the central government over the contentious farm bills, the farmers sitting in protest at the Dalit Prerna Sthal have posed 17 questions to the government over the bills including why the government was not guaranteeing provision of the MSP.
In a memorandum addressed to the PM, the farmers have asked why there was no mention of the MSP in the bills.
While the government has been emphasising that there would be no change in the MSP, the farmers have been demanding a guaranteed law to ensure that anyone buying farmers’ produce below the MSP would be penalised.
