Wheelchair warrior Brynn Hauxwell has pushed himself 1,679 miles - the equivalent of the length of Shetland s rugged coastline - as a thank you to those who have helped him.
The determined 15-year-old who has a range of debilitating mobility issues took eight months to complete the gruelling challenge and raised more than £8,000 for Ability Shetland.
A TEENAGER from Yell has completed a gruelling charity challenge in which he pushed himself in his wheelchair over a total distance of 1,679 miles, the equivalent of the length of Shetlandâs rugged coastline.
Brynn Hauxwell completed the challenge yesterday (Sunday) after covering the distance in portions over the last number of months.

He has raised over £6,400 for Ability Shetland as a way of saying thank you to the local charity for their support he and his family have received over the years.
The 15-year-old has been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, severe asthma and also suffers from fixed ankle contractures which means he relies on a wheelchair to get around.
