Marcus Rashford announces book club to encourage reading among disadvantaged children across 850 UK primary schools

MARCUS RASHFORD has launched a book club to help children from disadvantaged backgrounds and encourage then to read.
It is the latest charitable venture from the Manchester United player who had previously campaigned for children in England to receive free school meals during school holidays over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Macmillan Children’s Books is expected to donate up to 50,000 free books through the children’s food charity Magic Breakfast in an effort to reach children in more than 850 primary schools across the UK.
