Carnival Cruise Line Releases Update on Restart and Cancellations
Carnival Cruise Line aims to restart operations with three ships in July out of Florida and Texas. Further cancellations were also announced across the fleet.

Carnival Cruise Line has provided a major update on its plan on restarting operations out of the U.S., including further cancellations across the fleet. It comes as the cruise line continues to work on a possible restart in July.

Stimpson: Carnival Sensation docking in Mobile for vaccinations

The sight of the Carnival Sensation docked in Mobile this Friday won’t signal the resumption of cruise travel from the city, but it may represent a big step in the right direction: The ship will be visiting so that its crew can be vaccinated.
Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson announced at a city council meeting on Tuesday that he expects 110 crew members will receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine during the visit. The shots will be administered aboard the ship by healthcare personnel from USA Health, which has been working with the city to operate a vaccination clinic at the nearby Mobile Civic Center.
