Facebook Share The sight of the Carnival Sensation docked in Mobile this Friday won’t signal the resumption of cruise travel from the city, but it may represent a big step in the right direction: The ship will be visiting so that its crew can be vaccinated. Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson announced at a city council meeting on Tuesday that he expects 110 crew members will receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine during the visit. The shots will be administered aboard the ship by healthcare personnel from USA Health, which has been working with the city to operate a vaccination clinic at the nearby Mobile Civic Center.
