Mrs Mulligan said while many people will be struggling financially, pressures on emergency services remain as intense as ever. The results of the consultation will form part of her recommendation to the Police, Fire and Crime Panel next month. “After the hardest of years, it is more important than ever I hear people’s views about how much they think should be invested in policing and fire and rescue services from their council tax bill next year,” said Mrs Mulligan.
