Former chief minister and TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu alleged that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy stalled the special show screening of Pawan Kalyan-starrer Vakeel Saab in Andhra Pradesh just because the actor-turned-politician criticised him.
Jagan did not allow special shows of the movie and also prevented managements of theatres from increasing the ticket price on the release day only to make the actor incur loss, Naidu said, adding that Jagan was being vindictive against Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan as the latter has been criticising the policies of the YCP government, to which the public raised their voice in the positive.

The YSR Congress Party’s victory in the Tirupati Lok Sabha byelection is a foregone conclusion as people will vote for the good governance of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as seen during the last 21 months, party MLA K Parthasarathi said.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, the MLA said that the Chief Minister had implemented over 90% of the promises made in the party’s manifesto in his 21-month administration, despite a severe financial crisis due to COVID-19.
