CM Chouhan releases Rs 3112 crore under Mission Nagarodaya

Share Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the provision of food, clothing and shelter, education, medicine and employment is the vision of urban development. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the state level programme of Mission Nagarodaya. He distributed benefits under various beneficiary oriented schemes costing Rs. 3,112 crore 81 lakh and performed bhoomi-poojan and dedication of urban infrastructure. This programme was held in all 407 urban bodies of the state. Rs 70 thousand crores will be spent for development of cities Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that if there is cleanliness there is health and if there is health, there is happiness. Therefore, to make the state number one in the country in cleanliness, we all must pledge unitedly. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all of us should also resolve to defeat Corona by wearing masks and maintaining distance. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan motivated everyone to plant trees.

MoU signed between Police Headquarters and Institute of Good Governance

Share Bhopal: A contract was signed between the Women’s Crime Branch of Police Headquarters and School of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday for the study of prevention of cases of abduction and kidnapping of girls in the state and suggestions related to it. The contract was signed by Additional Director General of Police (Women Crime) police Headquarters Smt. Pragya Richa Shrivastava and Shri Girish Sharma, Director, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Home Shri Rajesh Rajaura and Director General of Police Shri Vivek Johri were present.

The booklet ‘Bangi’ focuses on the tribal heritage, development and success stories of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan presented the first copy of the book to President Shri Ram Nath Kovind after its release. On this occasion, Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Shri Prahlad Patel and Union Minister of State Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste, Tribal and Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Sushri Meena Singh, Urban Developmentand housing Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh, besides the MLAs, Principal Secretary Smt. Pallavi Jain Govil, Director TADP Sushri Shailbala Martin, other administrative officers and a large number of people from the tribal community were present.
