CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Loaves and Fishes hosted its first sit-down meal in the dining room of the new facility at 825 Crossland Ave. on Monday.
Ricky Willis, executive director of Loaves and Fishes, said the organization has been anticipating this day for a long time. “It was exciting to see so many volunteers turn out to make this happen. Today has been a day of our guests learning about the facility, because it was their first day to come in. We are getting their impressions and their feedback from them,” he said. (Lander, WY) – The 15 piece exhibition by three Middle Eastern contemporary artists, âABRAHAM: Out of One, Many,â is currently making its way across Wyoming and will be on display at the Fremont Country Pioneer Museum in Lander.
While on display locally from May 14 to May 28, an array of free programming has been planned – from an artist talk to a Native American Dance event.
âABRAHAM: Out of One, Manyâ focuses on what Jews, Christians and Muslims have in common because of their shared ancestor Abraham, a spiritual figure of distinct significance within the three primary monotheistic faith traditions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, according to the Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming.
