The comprehensive research guide is based on an assessment of 1,280 accredited colleges and universities in the nation. CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - State economists have discovered $1.7 billion in additional revenue that will be added to the budget currently being prepared by the legislature.
South Carolina District 37 Sen. Larry Grooms says it’s always good news when they learn of more money.
“What has happened is a lot of folks have stayed at home. There’s been a lot of stimulus money flowing to the state to prop up the economy and our state’s economists have now certified that the state will have a windfall of about $1.7 billion in collections of revenue over what we did last year,” Grooms said. “There is likely going to be a mad scramble over how we are going to spend $1.7 billion.”

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Fetter Health Care Network says it will partner with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control to host a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
The vaccination clinic is schedule from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and will be held at Trident Technical College located at 7000 Rivers Avenue in Building 920.
Fetter Health Care Network Chief Operations Officer Natasha Chatman says the vaccination event will be open to the public and healthcare workers will administer the first dose of the Moderna vaccine.
