(October 9, 1945 - February 10, 2021)  Florence Ann Kleine (nee Brammer) was born on October 9,1945 to Fred and Edith Brammer in Burbank, California. The First Lutheran Burbank was a central part of her life, including her baptism and grade school education where she came to learn of and lean to her Christian faith. Florence graduated in 1963 from John Burroughs High School in Burbank California. Her graduation culminated rather unusually when President John F Kennedy attended her Senior Prom. Florence attended California State University of Northridge and joined the Tri Delta Sorority. It was in Spanish class where her life changed forever. It was a Spanish anatomy lesson when Florence, a bright and eager student, asked Dave “que tienes en tu corazón?” (What do you have in your heart?). When Dave could not answer, the professor said, “Ah señor, tiene mucho amor por la señorita Brammer!” (You have a lot of love for Miss Brammer in your heart!) She was married to David

Country Cares Gave St Jude Patient Addie an Amazing Opportunity

In early 2016, Addie Pratt was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The Mississippi teenager was referred to St. Jude Children s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., sought treatment and beat cancer. Pratt underwent a successful round of chemotherapy for her diagnosis, and was able to return home in July, just a few months after arriving at St. Jude. However, she made a lifelong connection to the hospital, and a famous friend, to boot. In late 2019, country star Brad Paisley invited Pratt to add guest vocals to a new song, Alive Right Now,  and perform it with him on his  Brad Paisley Thinks He s Special TV variety show special. The two met at a Country Cares for St. Jude Kids seminar an annual event during which country radio programmers and industry members gather in Memphis to learn more about St. Jude s work and kick off fundraising efforts for the year and bonded over their mutual love of songwriting and playing guitar.

Ole Miss Falls to Arkansas January 28, 2021 604 Devontae Shuler shot 9-12 from the field en route to a 19-point outing, but the Arkansas Razorbacks had their way in the paint early and often as they knocked off Ole Miss (8-7, 3-5 SEC) 74-59 at Bud Walton Arena Wednesday evening.   Jarkel Joiner and  Luis Rodriguez joined Shuler in double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Joiner became the fourth player on the Ole Miss roster to surpass 1,000 career points in the first half.  Romello White led all players with eight rebounds.   Defensively, Ole Miss forced double digit turnovers (12) for the 15th time in 15 games, but the Razorbacks made up for it with a dominant effort in the paint and from the bench, scoring 34 points and out-rebounding Ole Miss 37-29. JD Notae made up 19 of 33 bench points for Arkansas, including a 14-point second half which secured the win down the stretch.
