Chief metropolitan magistrate Arun Kumar Garg was hearing the bail applications filed by Khanna and other arrested Gaurav Suri, Satish Sethi, Vikrant and Hitesh Kumar. “You came out with an order on May 7 that one cannot sell (Covid-19 equipment) above the MRP but the FIR in this case is on May 5. Special Judge Sumit Dass also sent Kalra s anticipatory bail application to Saket s District and Sessions Judge to decide an appropriate bench to hear the matter. The Court said that the file should be marked before Saket s District and Sessions Judge tomorrow.

Additional Sessions Judge Sumit Dass also placed his anticipatory bail before the District and Sessions Judge which will now decide which court will hear the plea on Wednesday. “Bail application placed before the District Judge South East at 10 am tomorrow; they will send it to the concerned court. There is no interim relief or any sort of protection to the accused yet,” the judge remarked.
