OAK CREEK, Wis. - On his UPS route through Oak Creek, driver Kevin Kiewig always makes a special stop at one house. Kevin stops by to check on his friend, 6-year-old Molly.
When UPS driver Kevin Kiewig stopped by the Zehnder house two years ago, Molly answered the door and from there a bond slowly formed.

Adding perimeter talent to the Gophers men s basketball roster has been a priority for new coach Ben Johnson so far with the transfer portal.
Johnson s first four commitments this spring are going to help the Gophers mainly in the backcourt, but they re now looking hard to add some inside depth as well.
Most recently, Marquette big man Theo John has been contacted by the Gophers, according to sources. The 6-foot-9 former Champlin Park standout entered his name into the transfer portal this week and could use the NCAA s extra year of eligibility granted due to the pandemic.
John, who was also reportedly contacted by Duke, averaged 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks last season for the Golden Eagles, who hired former Texas coach Shaka Smart to replace Steve Wojciechowskilast month.

The Georgetown Hoyas men’s basketball team (10-12, 8-9 Big East) defeated the Marquette Golden Eagles (13-14, 8-12 Big East) 68-49 to stay alive in the Big East Tournament. This was Head Coach Patrick Ewing’s first win as a head coach at the conference tournament. The Hoyas’ next opponent will be the #14 Villanova Wildcats tomorrow at Madison Square Garden.
The Hoyas were led by senior guard Jahvon Blair, who came off the bench to score 20 points, while sophomore center Qudus Wahab had 19 points and 7 rebounds. Sophomore guard DJ Carton had 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists to pace Marquette.

It has been a season of more downs than ups for the Marquette Golden Eagles, but Wednesday night may turn out to be one of their biggest surprise ups, especially for a game that did not even exist on the schedule a week ago.
Freshman Dawson Garcia s 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting led the way for Marquette to defeat North Carolina, 83-70 in Chapel Hill Wednesday night. Teammates D.J. Carton (17 points), Greg Elliot (15 points), and Theo John (11 points) balanced out the Golden Eagles scoring.
The Tar Heels were led by Garrison Brooks 18 points. North Carolina falls to 14-8 overall with the loss. They remain 8-5 in ACC play. Marquette improves to 11-12 overall with the win. They remain 6-10 in Big East Conference games.
