Carton (17 points), Greg Elliot (15 points), and Theo John (11 points) balanced out the Golden Eagles scoring. The Tar Heels were led by Garrison Brooks 18 points. North Carolina falls to 14-8 overall with the loss. They remain 8-5 in ACC play. Marquette improves to 11-12 overall with the win. They remain 6-10 in Big East Conference games.
