Dear Reader, If I’m being honest, I’ve always struggled to write letters from the editor; I need serious inspiration to crank out a “leditor.” Even if my goal is simply to introduce myself, as it is here, I spend way too much time agonizing over how to convey that message. This is my chance to.

Letter from the Editor: Excited for new experiences

I decided to apply to The Daily Evergreen after learning fall semester would be held exclusively online for most WSU students. I was looking for a way to still be involved on campus and to preserve my sanity. One semester later and I have gained so much more than just a new group of friends.

The Daily Evergreen     On Sept. 30, 2020, the Board of Student Media unanimously approved these bylaw changes, pending publication as required by the board bylaws. Please direct any comments or concerns to Richard Miller, millerr@wsu.edu.   1) Revise Faculty-at-large category to At-large, allowing us to add staff and/or community members 2) Revise ASWSU representation from four to three, remove class requirement, as suggested last spring by an ASWSU representative 3) Streamline requirements to change bylaws.   Current language: “Proposed changes to the Statement of Policies and/or Operating Bylaws must be published in The Daily Evergreen at least three weeks prior to a vote by the Board of Student Media. A proposed change requires a two-thirds affirmative vote of a two-thirds quorum of the voting membership of the Board of Student Media.
