When I asked Jim about his cancer, a contented, peaceful smile formed on his face. “So far. So good. No recurrence. The doctor says the cancer in my tongue has disappeared.”
Jim hesitated before changing gears. “I’ve never felt God’s presence like I did when on the radiation table.”
He scratched his head. “I’m claustrophobic and I get anxious when I feel trapped. When you have radiation, they strap you to a table.”
He stared past me into the memories he was reliving. “They fastened me in place, covered my face with a plastic mask and bolted me to the table. The techs would leave and seal the door. I was alone, unable to move, feeling like a prisoner. I would hear a click followed by a dull, metallic sound. That’s when I knew the radiation started.”
I was crossing a bridge on my drive home from church. With an excruciating headache, I’d left the Sunday morning service after worship, and now regretted missing the sermon. But, I was well aware the Holy Spirit could speak to me while driving home. So as I came to the bridge I began to think about the bridge being a metaphor for Jesus his death on a cross made a way for me to come to God. As I thanked the Lord for his sacrifice, I asked the Lord a question, “If bridges have a spiritual meaning, what about tunnels?”
I had just cheerfully entered my dentist’s office for more extensive repair work. It started like the other dental visits. But this time, as I hoped, while Mercedes, his dental assistant prepared me for the work, Dr. Azarbal asked about the source of my joy and positive demeanor. I had only been a patient for a few months, and he and his staff seemed perplexed that my disposition was consistently favorable and upbeat – not that of the typical dental patient.
“Doc”’ often commented to his assistants that I meditate while he works on my teeth. Mostly, I pray, focus on scripture verses or sing to myself, to divert my attention away from discomfort and the dreaded drill.

That’s why they have recently launched several new games and with more games to come that you can play on your own or with friends and family members during this holiday weekend. They have also now launched the Games Lobby so you will be able to easily access the new (and old) games.
From the name itself, the Games Lobby is a one-stop hub where you can find all the games, game settings, and other gaming needs. It comes with a revamped user interface as compared to how you accessed games before. It has also improved discoverability as they continue adding more games to their library. You will be able to see the best-ranked games as well as featured, new titles. This is part of a larger redesign of the Nest Hub UI with tabbed navigation which
