2021 NFL Draft prospect profile: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota
Could Bateman be a steal at wide receiver?
Patrick Gorski-USA TODAY Sports
By this point in the draft process, the top of the wide receiver class is pretty well established.
But despite the constant parsing and comparison of the top pass catchers, one name has largely been left out of the conversation. However, Minnesota’s Rashod Bateman made an undeniable impact on the field, particularly during their fantastic 2019 season. That year he racked up over 1,200 yards (20.3 per catch) and 11 touchdowns, helping Minnesota to multiple upsets. His production took a step back after opting out of the 2020 season, then opting back in, then playing just five games. That slip in production could have teams overlooking him, but the traits are there for him to play to his 2019 form.
2021 NFL Draft prospect profile: Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford
Could Adebo be a good value pick for the right team?
Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports
The 2021 NFL Draft has a deep and talented class of cornerbacks. Not only is there a potentially elite trio (or perhaps quartet) of corners who will likely be selected in the first half of the first round, but there is solid depth throughout the position group.
Teams will likely be able to find good values late into the second day of the draft, with potential starters slipping due to the volume of good cornerbacks available. Stanford corner Paulson Adebo is one of those corners who has been on the fringes of the cornerback conversation throughout the process.
2021 NFL Draft prospect profile - Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas
How does Ossai’s athleticism and versatility rank among the top EDGE prospects?

The EDGE class in the 2021 NFL Draft is an interesting one. Each of the potential top pass rushing prospects brings something different to the table.
In the case of Joseph Ossai of Texas, those traits are explosive athleticism and uncommon versatility. Ossai was able play multiple positions at Texas and truly threaten offensive tackles with his speed from a variety of alignments. That versatility should be an asset in a modern NFL defense which makes use of a variety of fronts to match up with high-octane offenses. But the question has to be asked whether he wore too many hats for the Texas defense and whether he would be better served by concentrating on one job.
