FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Sunny start to the workweek but plenty of rainy days ahead

This perfect spring weather continues for Monday, but as we know, all good things must come to an end at some point. Highs tomorrow will again top out in the middle 80s with just a few clouds from time to time. Monday night, clouds begin to increase as moisture increases off the Gulf.

We are watching a storm west of St. Louis this evening that will move close to the I64 corridor over night, but it will likely stay just north of the area. For most of the area we will see partly cloudy skies this evening. Lows by morning will be in the middle to upper 40s.

FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Sunny start to the workweek with warmer temperatures on the way

Temperatures begin to soar next week thanks to an upper-level ridge building over the southeastern U.S. next week. This will send daily afternoon highs well into the 70s to even near 80 by the latter half of the workweek.
