Treasured Tee muscled his way to the lead from Post 6, and after whacking out fractions of :28.1, :56.4 and 1:24.3 he stormed home in :28.1 to win by a half-length margin over stablemate Memo in 1:52.4. Perfetto was beaten that same margin while finishing third. Sent off at odds of 6-1, Treasured Tee recorded his third Preferred victory in his last five assignments for owner Brad Grant of Milton, ON.
