KZN Emergency Medical Services spokesperson Robert Mckenzie said the cause of the crash was unknown and would be investigated by the police. “Tragically, seven people have sustained fatal injuries in this crash. Paramedics treated six critically injured patients at the scene before transporting them to hospital for continued medical care,” he said.
