The Metropolitan Museum of Art approved a policy last week that allows proceeds from the sale of works from its collection to be used for salaries and overhead costs associated with the collection s care. The move follows similar actions by other museums, including ones in Brooklyn, Baltimore and Chicago, and marks the latest development in a debate that has been roiling the museum field, and has set some of the country s leading museum directors against one another.

Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio is all set to portray the leading artist and intellectual of the Italian Renaissance Leonardo da Vinci in an upcoming biopic.
The film marks DiCaprio s ninth project in which he plays a real life character.
In his last film The Revenant , DiCaprio portrayed frontiersman, Hugh Glass, the role which won him the best actor Oscar for the first time.

The Last Supper has reopened its doors, bringing delight and solace to locals who for once can visit the masterpiece without booking weeks ahead.
“After this terrible pandemic, it allows me to escape, it lifts my soul, and lets me feel emotions again,” said Milan resident Alessandria Fabbri, 37, as she admired the world-famous mural.

The senator was a late invite to The Last Supper, crossed the Delaware River with George Washington and counseled Han Solo and Chewbacca on the Millennium Falcon.
That was before he had lunch with the Mean Girls and served detention with The Breakfast Club.
