Last month I was watching trailers for the new Marvel Disney+ show The Falcon & The Winder Soldier and started to put something together. Looking over the background shots of the show, I could see some familiar landscapes. It looked pretty swampy, and then it clicked. This new MCU show was going to have Louisiana as a setting.
That theory came true. In the first episode Sam Wilson, The Falcon, played by New Orleans native Anthony Mackie came to his family s home in Delacroix, Louisiana. His sister runs a fishing boat that had belonged to his parents, and also still live in the family s home where it appears Sam lives too.

Loki, the upcoming series centered around Thor’s mischievous brother, set to premiere June 11th on Disney+.
Loki is set after the events of
Avengers: Endgame and finds Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as the titular God of Mischief. As the trailer shows, the series opens with Loki in a lot of hot water with the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic agency tasked with protecting the proper flow of time, which Loki rudely disrupted when he stole the Tesseract and broke reality.

Following a recent premiere date delay, Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for “Black Widow.”
“One thing’s for sure, I’m done running from my past,” Natasha Romanoff, AKA Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), says over a flurry of fight sequences.

Like so many actors before him, when Wyatt Russell first auditioned for the Disney Plus series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” he had no idea what character he was trying out to play. It was only after he landed the gig that Marvel Studios told him he’d booked the role of John Walker, who takes on the mantel of Captain America after Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) turns it down. Initially, Russell didn’t want it either.
