Netflix Announces New Tomb Raider, Kong: Skull Island Anime Series
New animated shows based on the action franchises are headed to the streaming platform.
Netflix is partnering with Legendary Entertainment for new anime shows based on the new Tomb Raider games and the Kong movie Skull Island.
The Tomb Raider anime will follow Lara Croft s adventures after the events of the Crystal Dynamics reboot trilogy, which wrapped up with 2018 s Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The Skull Island anime, meanwhile, follows a shipwrecked crew on an island who face off against monsters and Kong himself. This was also the plot for the 2017 film Kong: Skull Island.

Kong film. It’ll follow a shipwrecked group who finds themselves stuck on an island filled with monsters and, you guessed it, one big ape.
