New MTSU organization ‘TAPS’ into every aspect of aerospace Mar 04, 2021 at 10:40 am by WGNS
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. Already off the ground, the newest MTSU student organization takes flight this week with its first in-person meeting.
The Tennessee Aerospace Professionals Society, which incorporated in February and already enjoying more than 30 members, gathers for the first time at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4, in Business and Aerospace Building Room S126. New members are welcome.
The purpose of the Tennessee Aerospace Professionals Society, or TAPS, is to further the career development of students and professionals in all aerospace pathways through education, comradery and outreach.

Vadodara: The central goods and services tax (CGST), Vadodara II, on Friday arrested three men for evading taxes to the tune of Rs 80 crore. All the three were produced before the court that sent them to judicial custody on Friday.
GST officials said that they are investigating to ascertain if any more persons are involved in the fraud.
According to GST officials, accused identified as Japan Ajmera, Tarak Patel and Karan Patel, all residents of Bhavnagar, had floated 12 bogus firms to commit the fraud. While two firms were registered in Dahod, five in Bhavnagar, two in Ahmedabad, one each in Chhota Udepur, Morbi and Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The accused showed that these firms were dealing in iron and steel.

Company’s third-quarter standalone net rises 16% to ₹22 crore Process equipment and solutions provider GMM Pfaudler Limited on Wednesday informed about the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on personal grounds.
In a statement, the company informed that Jugal Sahu has resigned as CFO of the company with effect from January 20 due to personal reasons. Sahu will be relieved with effect from March 31, 2021, it added.
Following Sahu s resignation, the company appointed and re-designated Manish Poddar as CFO and Key Managerial Personnel with effect from Wednesday. Prior to his new designation, Poddar was appointed as a Chief Integration Officer (CIO).
