Meru widow fights for inheritance with ‘millionaire’ step-children 6 years ago A 35-year-old woman from Meru is embroiled in a tussle with some of her late Australian husband’s children for property and Sh24 million. Evangeline Kalingu Stephen from Tigania married Benito Armetta Vittoria Giuseppe in a customary ceremony in 2011. They met when they were both working for Intex Construction Company. A year earlier, Giuseppe had lost his wife, Yolanda, with whom he had four children (all adults).
