The city of Rome is poised to come out of the pandemic stronger, Mayor Jacqueline Izzo said Thursday when she was the guest speaker at the Rome Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting.  “We were able to keep our projects moving,” Izzo said, providing updates on most of the economic activity taking place throughout the city.  Izzo touched on newer projects such as Woodhaven, housing developments in the city, Downtown Revitalization Initiatives (DRI) and construction taking place within Griffiss Business and Technology Park, during her roughly half-hour speech.  The mayor also spoke on city infrastructure projects, such as upgrading the city’s sewer system.
