The Ross County Sheriff s Department confirmed a man wanted for murder has been captured in Adams County. According to reports, Thomas Wyatt Pooler, 25, was taken into custody on Thursday without incident. Pooler was wanted in connection to a fatal shooting last Saturday in Bainbridge. Officials say Pooler has been transferred to the Ross County Jail.

Bainbridge resident Thomas Wyatt Pooler, 25, was taken into custody after nearly a week on the run, according to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
On Dec. 13, Ross County Sheriff George W. Lavender Jr. reported that his office had obtained a warrant charging Pooler with a murder that occurred during a Bainbridge incident in the early morning hours of Saturday, Dec. 12.
At the time, Pooler was considered armed and dangerous, Lavender said.
Pooler was arrested in Peebles on Thursday, according to Adams County Sheriff’s Department Detective Sam Purdin.
MASON, W.Va. â The Mason Police Department says it has received several calls stating a man wanted in a south-central Ohio homicide case has been spotted in the area.
According to its Facebook page, the Mason Police Department has actively been searching for a man wanted on a murder charge in Ross County, Ohio.
Thomas Wyatt Pooler, 25, is wanted on a murder charge stemming from an investigation in Bainbridge, Ohio, on Dec. 12. He is described as a 6-foot-2 man weighing 165 to 180 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
âWe do not want this post to alarm anyone since the suspect has not been positively identified to be located in Mason WV. This post (is) to inform the citizens of Mason to be on the lookout for the subject,â the police department wrote.
