Dr Weiner sues St Peter s Health over dismissal

Dr. Thomas Weiner An oncologist has sued St. Peterâs Health, its chief executive officer and several of its physicians for damages following his dismissal from the hospital, saying suspending his clinical privileges violated due process, was done without good cause and damaged his reputation. Dr. Thomas Weiner filed his 26-page lawsuit Thursday in Montana s 1stÂ Judicial Court in Lewis and Clark County, requesting the case be heard by a jury and seeking damages to be determined at the trial. St. Peterâs Health officials said Friday they are reviewing the lawsuit. St. Peterâs denies any allegations of wrongdoing, they said. We have grave concerns regarding Dr. Weinerâs care and we are confident in the actions we took to protect our patients and the community. This matter is now in the hands of the judicial system.
