Incidents of white supremacist propaganda hit an all-time high in 2020, according to a new report from the Anti-Defamation League s Center on Extremism, which has tracked racist propaganda for decades. anti-Semitic, racist and anti-LGBTQ+ posters, flyers and graffiti were recorded 5,125 times in 2020, according to the report, almost twice the number of incidents recorded in 2019. © AP During one of the most politically divisive years in recent memory, far-right extremists migrated further to online networks, leading to a decline in active hate groups last year. “Myself and others I work with believe that the best way to combat the efforts of these hate groups which uphold ‘traditional values’ that are rooted in white supremacy and advocate for the enslavement or expulsion of non-whites and non-Christians is with mutual aid, striking back at their fascist mindset on a localized level, helping fellow humans,” she said.
