So the district has agreed to hire a community relations specialist.
In addition to spreading good news about the school district, the new position will oversee the nonprofit Foundation for Easton Schools.
“I have heard from many members of our school community that public relations is an area of need,” PIperato said. “Combining a community relations position with the executive director of the foundation is a cost effective way to enhance communication and improve the overall reputation of the district. The public needs to hear more about our amazing students and staff.”
