Monastery applies for cemetery on outskirts of Santa Paula July 09, 2021 Hearing July 15 on controversial ‘after the fact’ permit An application for a conditional use permit to establish and operate a cemetery for 30 years at the St. Barbara Monastery on the outskirts of Santa Paula at 15799 Ojai Road will be heard by the Ventura County Planning Commission on Thursday, July 15, at 8:30 a.m. at the county Government Center. The applicant is the Foundation for the Support of the St. Barbara Monastery Cemetery and the application number is PL18-0116. The Planning Commission meets in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in the Ventura County Government Center’s Hall of Administration, 800 S. Victoria Ave., Ventura.

I would just say that 10 years ago I would have seen that as a big positive on their resume and now I see it as a negative that they have to overcome in the interview because obviously there is going to be great kids all over in higher [education] at different schools, said the editor of First Things magazine Rusty Reno.
