When Shimla leapfrogged over 91 other cities in a single year to emerge as the ‘most liveable city’ according to the Government of India’s Ease of Living Index (EoLI), many were surprised. Among those, somewhat nonplussed, were also the people and authorities concerned in the town. A journalist friend from Delhi sent a message, “How did this happen? A little less than a month ago, the Koenigsegg Agera RS lost its title as the fastest production car in the world.
A company representative did not respond to a request for comment after losing the title. But things have been busy at Koenigsegg headquarters in Ãngelholm, Sweden; they may have hardly noticed. The manufacturer is in the midst of building a new production line for Gemera hybrid hypercars to start production next year.
The Koenigsegg Gemera is notable for its proper back seat.Â
