Local doggy daycare business booming

Rachel Mills Created: January 21, 2021 05:45 PM (ABC 6 News) - After Gov. Tim Walz lifted many COVID restrictions, people are beginning to head back to work. But what about the dogs hanging out at home?  This is good news for local doggy daycare businesses.  We are growing everyday now, every week, every month. It s at least a 50 percent increase or more. It s a very good thing. Yes, absolutely. The more dogs the better, Abby Buck, store manager at Central Bark, said.  For Central Bark Rochester daycare, its the puppies that are driving business. So, they got a puppy, but then their puppy doesn t really know how to be alone. So, we ve seen a lot of clients coming in to get their puppy some socialization, especially with social distancing. We want to do it in a safe way, Taylor Ohm, store manager at Central Bark, said.
