Print Electric vehicle startup Polestar has spent the past year establishing its beachhead in the U.S., but it is now turning its full attention to retail growth. A catalyst for that will be the Polestar 3 midsize crossover that goes on sale late next year. It is the Volvo affiliate s first model to be built in the U.S. Meanwhile, U.S. deliveries of its Polestar 2 are in line with the company s target for this year, global sales chief Mike Whittington told Automotive News last week. He said Polestar will look for growth every year now. Polestar 3 will be the next step in that, Whittington said. We believe there ll be very strong demand for that product, particularly in the U.S.
