Results from yesterday’s Municipal Primary in Pennsylvania… For Lewistown Borough Council, four-year term, the top three on the Republican ballot were Jim Steele, Richard Erhard, and Bill Wilson.  Top Republican vote-getters for a two-year term were Larry “Heavy” Searer and Bobby Hammond. For Burnham Borough Council, the top three Republicans were Lisa Barker Wise, Thomas Garver, and Robert Soccio.  Matthew Deamer was the lone Democrat. On the Republican ballot for Mifflin County Register & Recorder, Ellen Amspacker defeated incumbent Barbara Stringer. For County Treasurer, Republican Diane Griffith was a winner over incumbent Deb Civitts.  Democrat Lauren Mowry ran unopposed. On the Republican ballot for Mifflin County School Board, the top four vote-getters were Diane Stewart, Mark Baker, Don Wright, and John Knepp.  On the Democrat side, winners were Kristin Aromatorio, Rose Marie Schulz, Diane Stewart, and John Knepp.

Healing Field - Flags of Remembrance May 04, 2021 at 10:44 am by WGNS The 13th Annual Exchange Club of Murfreesboro “Healing Field– Flags of Remembrance” to be held Memorial Day weekend at 265 West Thompson Lane next to First United Methodist Church needs assistance in posting of the 650 flags at 8:00 AM on Saturday May 29th when Club President Melissa Wright welcomes the volunteers. The Healing Field is a program franchised by Colonial Flag of Sandy, Utah so this is a registered Healing Field. Following the posting of flags the “Healing Field - Flags of Remembrance” will be honored with a prayer by Reverend Edgar Boles of Living Springs Baptist Church; Charlie Pigg, Colonel USAF (retired) will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

Staff RF Capital Group Inc. has nominated new candidates for its board, the firm said in a release on Monday.
