Paul Mason Cobble

Saturday, July 3, 2021 7:12 pm Paul “Mason” Cobble, 18, of Georgetown, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on November 22, 2002, to Richard and Ginger Cobble. Mason was a 2021 graduate of Walker Valley High School. He loved spending his summers volunteering at the YMCA as a counselor in training. Mason also worked and volunteered at Community Animal Hospital as Mason s aspiration was to become a veterinarian. He was an avid animal lover, especially when it came to his beloved German Shepherd, “Huck.” He also enjoyed his favorite hobby of culinary arts. Mason had such a kind loving spirit and was faithful to his family, friends and God.

(Susan Hoffman) Print Newport Beach resident Don Palmer says he’s busier at 87 than he was at 57. Palmer’s wife Arline of 67 years can attest to that. “You’re always working. Why don’t you relax?” she tells Don. His reply, “Work is relaxation, I’m doing something I like to do.” But keeping the cobwebs from taking over his brain is what drives him. “I can’t walk good, I can’t see good, can’t hear good, but I can think real good,” said Palmer. “It’s because I’ve always been active and doing something like writing.” He is a perpetual Facebook communicator and texter and has written four self-published autobiographical books.
