Synopsis
Na Bong-sun (Park Bo-young) has an extremely timid personality and low self-esteem, doesn t have any close friends, and is constantly getting reprimanded at her job as an assistant chef at Sun Restaurant. She also occasionally sees ghosts, thanks to a shaman grandmother. One day, Bong-sun gets possessed by a lustful virgin ghost named Shin Soon-ae (Kim Seul-gi). To make up for the lack of romance in her short life and believing that only by losing her virginity will she be able to resolve her grudge and move on to the afterlife, Soon-ae is determined to seduce as many men as she can by possessing various women, and she finds the perfect vessel in Bong-sun.
The end is here. After 10 weeks, 20 episodes, and more fun than any of us could have expected, “Mr. Queen” has wrapped up. This is one of those shows that will go down as zany, family-friendly, and above all, with real stakes, heart, and sheer fun!

1. LOVED: Byeong In’s death
tvN’s “Mr. Queen” continues to lead on the weekly list of buzzworthy dramas, with its stars Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun also taking the top two spots among cast members!
Good Data Corporation has shared its rankings of the dramas and cast members that generated the most buzz for the week of February 8 to February 14. The lists were compiled from analyzing news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media posts about 23 dramas that are currently airing or set to air soon.
“Mr. Queen” holds the top spot on the buzzworthy drama list for the third consecutive week. Shin Hye Sun is in the No. 1 spot among actors for the fourth week in a row, while her co-star Kim Jung Hyun rises to No. 2 from No. 4 last week. Two more “Mr. Queen” cast members take spots on the ranking, with Na In Woo in No. 5 and Choi Jin Hyuk in No. 9.
The historical fusion drama is about a man from modern times whose soul is trapped in the body of a queen from the Joseon dynasty. Shin Hye Sun stars as Kim So Yong, the Joseon queen with the soul of Blue House chef Jang Bong Hwan trapped inside her. Kim Jung Hyun plays her husband King Cheoljong, who is a weak and ineffective king on the outside but is stronger and sharper than he appears. Seol In Ah stars as Jo Hwa Jin, King Cheoljong’s first love who opposes Kim So Yong.
Seol In Ah shared, “I was nervous and felt pressure because it was my first historical drama in a long time. It was an enjoyable time. Since the teamwork between the actors, staff, and director was good, I was able to act more comfortably without the pressure I had expected.”
