I immediately took my jacket off and wrapped it around him and put him in the truck, Gehrke said. I called police dispatch. I got the heat blasting in the truck. I ll keep him warm until we get help on the way.
The boy was under the care of a babysitter, when he snuck out of the house.
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) While millions were without power for days during and after the historic winter storm, there were others like Savannah Thigpeen.
She said she has been doing all she can to conserve electricity, but after just two days of barely any use, she is looking at a bill over $600. Before I went to bed Tuesday night, I got another notification that it was a negative $453, Thigpeen said.
That was after paying nearly $200 on Monday.
Thigpeen lives alone in a one-bedroom apartment in the Spring Branch area.
In November, she switched to Griddy, a Texas wholesale electricity provider. They charge market price for customers based on their personal kilowatt usage.
