KANCHANABURI: A crocodile about two metres long that was spotted near a canal in Tha Maka district last Sunday has been captured, while another larger one remains at large.
Kanchanaburi governor Jirakiat Bhumisawasdi posted a message with pictures of the captured croc on Saturday: “Good news. One crocodile has already been captured. There is still another one.”

KANCHANABURI: A six-year-old girl has become the latest Covid-19 patient in this western border province, the 5th since the new wave of the outbreak began, the provincial Covid-19 response centre announced on Sunday.
Athisan Intra, director of the centre, said the girl s parents on Jan 4 tested positive for the virus at Maka Rak Hospital after returning from a gambling den in Pin Klao area in Bangkok. The family is from tambon Don Cha-em in Tha Maka district
