Representative image MUMBAI: A senior train ticket examiner of Western Railway (WR) was assaulted by two commuter after they were caught traveling on expired Monthly Season Ticket (MST) pass in an intercity train of Western Railway (WR) on Thursday. Victim Arjun Singh was assaulted when he was on duty in train number 12922 Flying Ranee train 8.30am at Kelve Road station by Chinmay Bari (27) and Dhirendra Patil (21) who were holding invalid expired MST passes. WR spokesperson said, “The accused had boarded the train from Dahanu Road station. A first information report (FIR) has been registered against the duo assaulting a public servant on duty.”
