SunStar Photo by Mark Perandos May 06, 2021 ALL national and local government vehicles, including those that come in from other regions, are required to open their windows, a fraction or halfway whichever is convenient, while in transit, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio ordered. SunStar Photo from Davao CIO April 15, 2021 THE Davao City Health Office (CHO) said it has temporarily closed six isolation facilities intended for confirmed Covid-19 patients due to a low occupancy rate. CHO Acting Head Dr. Ashley Lopez said in a radio interview on Wednesday, April 14, that from the original 18, the city currently has 12 functional temporary treatment and monitoring facilities (TTMFs) or isolation facilities. This number does not include quarantine and holding facilities. “We have bed occupancy of 1,200 plus in our TTMFs and as of yesterday (April 13), we had an occupancy rate of 19.5 percent or about 260 isolated cases. That means daghan pa kaayo tag bakante (Occupancy is low),” Lopez said in an interview on 87.5 FM Davao City Disaster Radio.
