The Davao City Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. (DCCCII) stressed the importance of digital transformation to businesses, especially to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), amid the pandemic.
In a webinar on Monday, DCCCII Secretary General Maan Doromal noted that businesses that thrived during the lockdowns were those that adopted digitalization and realized the need to put up their businesses and services online.
Doromal added that businesses need to shift and pivot their plans to bringing goods and services to their clients using different platforms.
Meanwhile, Davao City Investment and Promotion Center head of Investor Assistance Servicing Unit Christian Cambaya said the city government is also moving towards digitalization.
Looking forward to 2021
