(WAFB) - Oral Roberts scored three runs in the last two innings as the Golden Eagles rallied to take the series over No. 11 LSU in Alex Box Stadium. It was a pitchers duel for much of the game as the Tigers (9-3) held on to a 1-0 lead until the top of the eight inning when the Golden Eagles (4-7) would score two runs to take a 2-1 lead. Oral Roberts would score two off a double and two Tiger errors.

BATON ROUGE, La. – Junior right-hander  Landon Marceaux fired six scoreless innings Saturday to lead eighth-ranked LSU to a 12-0 win over Oral Roberts in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field. Marceaux received plenty of run support from the LSU lineup, which erupted for a seven-run fifth inning and collected 15 hits on the day. LSU, which dropped Game 1 of the series to ORU on Friday, improved to 9-2 with Saturday s victory while the Golden Eagles fell to 3-7. LSU will face Oral Roberts in the Game 3 of the series Sunday at 2 p.m. CT in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field. The game will be available to watch on SEC Network+, and it may be heard on affiliates of the LSU Sports Radio Network, including 98.1 FM in Baton Rouge.
