Petro Matad makes progress on Heron field plan approval in Mongolia

(Alliance News) - Petro Matad Ltd on Monday said the Mongolian Mineral Resources Professional Council has agreed to approve the plan of development of Heron field in the north Asian country.
The Mongolia-based petroleum company said the plan will be approved once some technical clarifications have been provided. The items requiring clarification have been received from the council, Petro Matad said. We are pleased to have received the support of the Mineral Resources Professional Council for our Heron field plan of development and we are working with the designated representatives to provide clarification and complete any minor amendments as soon as possible, said Chief Executive Mike Buck.
Prudential to sell all coal assets by 2022 as part of net zero goal

(Alliance News) - Prudential PLC on Friday announced it will divest from all coal assets in its portfolio, in line with its plans to decarbonise its portfolio and meet its target of becoming net zero by 2050.
The London-based insurer said it will take immediate actions to work on its long-term goal, including the divestment from all businesses which derive more than 30% of income from coal, starting with all equities by the end of 2021 and fixed-income assets by the end of 2022.
Prudential s portfolio had a value of USD128 billion as at December 31, 2020.
